Kirsten is a Bible Believing, Born again Christian, who is extremely conservative in her views, having a good grasp on the evils of liberalism, feminism, and humanism.
She understands the Scriptural teaching of the human sinful nature, and interprets her whole worldview from the World of God.
Still in college, she is a contributor to FOX NEWS, seen on Hannity, O'Reilly, GBTV, "On the Record" with Greta, "FOX and Friends, etc.
Watch for her, support her and pray for her to be a great witness for Jesus Christ! Certainly the Arch-Enemy wants to "destroy her" and "sift her as wheat" was the phrase Jesus used!
Just 23, she may go into Public Service after college.

Kirsten Haglund, birthday September 14, 1988, graduated from Walled Lake Western High School in 2006 and spent one year at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She took time off to fulfill her duties as Miss Michigan and prepare for the Miss America pageant in 2007.
After completing her year of service, Kirsten continued to travel and speak on body-image issues and eating disorders, also having begun her own Foundation (the Kirsten Haglund Foundation) to provide treatment scholarships for women struggling with the illness.
Kirsten lived for one year in Los Angeles, California, and will now be finishing her education (using over $60,000 in scholarships from the MAO) at Emory University.[1][2]

After winning the Miss Oakland County local title, Haglund competed in the Miss Michigan pageant for the first time, in June 2007.
She won a preliminary swimsuit award and at the conclusion of the final competition was crowned Miss Michigan.[3] For her state talent she performed "Adele's Laughing Song" from the operetta Die Fledermaus.

Haglund went on to represent Michigan in the Miss America 2008 pageant broadcast on TLC from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on January 26, 2008.[4]
She won a preliminary swimsuit award on Wednesday night, becoming her state's first Preliminary Swimsuit award since 1987.
For her talent she sang "Over the Rainbow".[3][4]
At the conclusion of the live telecast, Haglund was crowned the 83rd Miss America. She succeeds Lauren Nelson, of Lawton, Oklahoma and is Michigan's fifth Miss America and her state's first for twenty years.[5]
At 19, Haglund was the youngest girl in the competition, and the youngest Miss America winner since Kimberly Clarice Aiken took the title in 1993.[6]
Haglund's grandmother Iora Hunt represented Detroit, Michigan at Miss America 1944.[7]
Her platform is eating disorder awareness, as she suffered from anorexia that began at age twelve.[7] In fact, her body mass index was 16.29 BMI (18.5 suggest a person is underweight) at the time she was crowned.[8]

During her first week as Miss America, Haglund appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly, ABC News Now, Inside Edition and Fox and Friends[9][10]
As part of her support of the Children's Miracle Network, the official platform of Miss America, Haglund was named spokesperson of IHOP's third annual National Pancake Day.[1]
Kirsten Haglund is amazing, and a close friend to me. I love her so much. Kirsten was brought up in a family with strong christian beliefs.
I am also involved with the Miss America organization, and what an honor it is to be apart of. It's truly amazing the amount of money it gives to teens and women nationwide.
I believe that Kirsten looked great on the Miss America stage.
I also think that she couldn't have won this pageant if the judges didn't believe she had earned it.
The Hollywood industry is too liberal, immoral & discriminates against conservatives according Ben Shapiro (author of “Primetime Propaganda”), Ken Blackwell (former Ohio Secretary Of State), Kirsten Haglund (Miss America 2008) & Sean Hannity.
In fact, Kirsten Haglund was recently on Hannity with Ken Blackwell.

Author Ben Shapiro appeared on Hannity’s show with Kirsten Haglund to publicize his new book” Primetime Propoganda”, which he says reveals liberal bias in Hollywood.
. . .they bias their programming in a liberal direction, they discriminate against conservatives (and Christians) in Hollywood.”
And then there’s this exchange, where Shapiro attempts to explainhow Elmo is hurting America’s children:
Hannity: How is Elmo liberal?
Shapiro: I talked to one of the guys who was originally at Children’s Television Workshop originally, and he said that the whole purpose of Sesame Street was to cater to black and Hispanic youths who don’t have reading literature in the house…"
If you go on the Sesame Street website, it talked about :
*** ‘When you’re bringing up your child, make sure that you use gender neutral language.
*** Make sure that you give your boys dolls and make sure that you give your girls firetrucks.
*** Is it working? We have a nation with little Homos running the streets holding hands and don't know if they're male of female!
Fellow panelist Ken Blackwell, who’s African-American and previously served as Ohio’s secretary of state and was Gubernatorial Candidate in 2006, argued was a “direct assault on our country’s moral foundation.”
The beautiful Miss America Kristen Haglund jumped in to appropriate feminist language and explained . . .
. . . the “hyper-sexualization of women” (little girls and all) — and how she still managed to become a good conservative despite years of watching Sesame Street during her own childhood.
