Star Parker is as brilliant as she is a beautiful and as beautiful as she is charming! She is CHARMING!
She is also a devout Born-Again African American Conservative, a political commentator, author, and social critic.
Star Parker is also a sought-after advocate and spokesperson for American conservative causes.
Star Parker was the 2010 Republican Party candidate for the California's 37th congressional district, with TEA PARTY Support.
Parker holds an Associate's Degree in Advertising from Los Angeles City College and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in International Business from Woodbury University.[1]
Parker is a conservative African American woman who has stated she spent her teen and early adult years as an unemployed mother on welfare. She also has told of being arrested in her teens for shoplifting, and has publicly disclosed the fact that she has had four abortions.[2]
Parker became a Christian and subsequently became a spokesperson for related political issues. She opposes the welfare system, claiming that welfare is similar to an invitation to a government plantation, which creates a situation where those who accept the invitation switch mindsets from "How do I take care of myself?" to "What do I have to do to stay on the plantation?"
She claims that stable families and strong moral values are the key to ending poverty. She believes that abortion is wrong and has hurt black families. In 2007, Parker was a guest at the conservative Value Voters Summit and in 2009 was a guest speaker at this same event.[3]
Parker is the founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, which was formerly based in Los Angeles, but is currently based in Washington, D.C. She is also a syndicated columnist for Scripps Howard News Service and the author of three books:
>> Uncle Sam's Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America's Poor and What We Can Do About It (2003)
>> Pimps, Whores and Welfare Brats: From Welfare Cheat to Conservative Messenger (1998).
She was relaxed, funny, and informative.
In this month’s issue of World magazine, editor Marvin Olasky says Parker is running for U.S. Congress against Rep. Laura Richardson.
It’s about time.
In her autobiography and in the article, Parker admits to some hard things. She’s had several abortions. She did drugs, cheated the welfare system, and committed crimes. The rough road led to a dramatic change of lifestyle and beliefs. She surrendered her life to Christ, became pro-life, and sounded the alarm against government dependency. Parker encourages those living on handouts to break the chains of poverty and find purpose and meaning in their lives.
In Uncle Sam’s Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America’s Poor and What We Can Do About It, Parker traced the shift in America’s attitude from a belief in strong families and hard work to the flawed idea that the government’s role is to solve social problems.
“Social engineers of the late 1960s told Americans that black people could not take control over the poverty in their lives due to centuries of racism and segregation,” Parker writes. The onus was now on society to “fix” poverty, and taxpayers are still pouring money into it.
But poverty can’t be fixed with money, Parker asserts. Moral bankruptcy, caused by the scourge of relativism, must be overcome. Government safety nets allow people to escape the consequences of personal behavior. As a result, there is little incentive to learn from bad behavior.
Parker is currently a speaker for the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute's college campus lecture program. On August 27, 2009 Parker appeared with Alaskans for Parental Rights to kick off a statewide signature drive to make teen abortions in Alaska illegal without parental consent [4]
In March 2010, Star Parker announced she would be running for Congress. [5] She ran as the Republican candidate in California's 37th congressional district, which encompasses most of Long Beach and Compton, as well as Carson, Signal Hill, and parts of other municipalities. Parker lost the November 2nd race, earning 22.7% of the votes in the district.[6]
This district is currently represented by Democrat Laura Richardson. Her campaign emphasized personal responsibility and accountability using her past reliance on welfare as a basis for her arguments.
Despite her election loss, Star plans to continue her pursuit of inner city improvement.

Ministers-Best-Friend.com is an Absolute, Bible-Believing, Conservative Christian Ministry, seeking to serve the Ministers who serve the LORD JESUS. As such, we provides web-space to a number of Ministries, notably NewtonStein (a Creation-Science-Based Research Group), as well as AMERIPEDIA, BIBLIPEDIA, CHRISTIPEDIA, CATHOLIPEDIA, ISLAMIPEDIA, JUDAEOPEDIA, TEA-PARTY-UNITED, TALK-RADIO-REPUBLICANS, ETC., – seeking to be an outlet for many CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVE VOICES who love the LORD JESUS CHRIST ABOVE ALL!
Obviously, all phases of Christianity do not agree doctrinally or politically and sometimes even disagree on the actual facts concerning a particular leader, nation or situation, hence there are well over 10,000 denominations extant.
We neither claim nor present ourselves as having perfect knowledge in all things. Thus views and articles posted on this website are those of their authors – who often insist their identities, denominational, and/or doctrinal persuasion be made known for various reasons – offered to you as wise people of God - Christian Patriots, whatever your nation - to discern for your own judgement and edification.
In the NAME of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour:
Be Blessed!
