Based on a "True Story!"How Government SchoolsWere Replaced by all Christian Schools!In the new city we moved to some years ago, government school atmosphere was filled with sports, television-movies-&-Hollywood, near Celebrity Worship, school dances, and a dominant dating philosophy of 'sex-for-teens-and-outside-of-marriage-is-normal-and-wonderful'. “Free Condoms!” were passed out like candy. “Free Birth Control Pills!" were encouraged for every girl who visited the School Nurse's Office, regardless of age: . . . 9, 10, 11 . . . yet there were many pregnancies, and frequent abortions (most of which the parents never knew about. Pro-Homosexual and anti-Christ philosophy reigned in all phases of school administration, while gang violence and crime ruled the hallways. The United States Motto of "In God We Trust", The Declaration of Independence, and 'Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag' were nowhere to be seen The only thing less taught than education . . . . was God-&-His Word. Amazing Beginning!My mother took my youngest sister to school one morning, and found armed-police were necessary to stand outside the door of her Classroom - to keep the teacher safe from the students - and the students from each other. You've heard of such things, but in this case, the "fearsome students" were 7-year-old-second-graders! That was the final factor: something MUST be done! Mother brought my little sister back home, and in gushing tears told Dad of this horrid scene. One phone call later, Dad had withdrawn little sister from that school immediately - also providing them a with a “Free-Evaluation" of their situation! My Dad, a Minister, called other Ministers, and asked what they thought could be done to start a Community-wide, non-denominational, Christian School, open to all Believers: IMMEDIATELY! They met later that evening to discuss the options. By midnight, a dozen Ministers of several denominations laid aside petty differences, and formed a Community Christian School. Amazing Difficulties!Obviously, they received no tax dollars, so each Church - struggling though they were - committed a certain amount of money, and each student paid some tuition to attend. The school was small, financially destitute, and had no million-dollar facility,. . . with sports teams and science labs. In fact, the new Christian School met in a centrally located Church basement: dark, damp and dreary! However, . . . . . . the new school did have Christ at the center of all that was done, and God’s Word was the basis for all classes and texts. All teachers were committed Christians and God’s Laws were the ‘Constitution and Bylaws’ for all practices and decisions. The rich government schools and scoffing community mocked the humble school - with neither cafeteria, football team nor Driver‘s Ed. However, as months rolled by, the community saw the “fruit of the school” - that is the fine students they were graduating with good test-scores and great goals for life! One by one - other parents were convinced of the value of the Christian School, and began to enroll their own children. Conversely - and perversely - the government schools were getting worse year by year, with alcohol, drugs, sex, crime and violence increasing at ever-younger ages. Sometimes, the humble Christian School was even recommended by the Police Chief or Juvenile Judge to parents who cared deeply for their children. Most of these students and their parents got saved, the reputation for successful students grew, and the Christian School slowly by surely began to prosper, as did all of the Churches connected with it: attracting dedicated parents and winning new converts trough the school student body. As God blessed the Christian School, the Government Schools continued an exacerbating, decadent spiral. “Political Correct Laws” became more insane. Boys and Girls were almost encouraged to change roles, . . . and the Name of Jesus was not allowed to be mentioned . . . unless cursing, of course! Amazing Change of Philosophy!As the Christian School grew and prospered, the Pastoral leaders were convinced they must remove tuition requirements, and open the school to all who wanted to attend: “Whosoever will, let them come!” . . . they proclaimed to the whole community . . . “For Free!” They would trust the Lord for finances for “Monday School” and “Tuesday School” just like they did for “Sunday School!” In mass-exodus students fled Ghetto-like Government Schools for the safety and shelter of the Christian School. Unable to hold all of the students, several Churches at the edges of town opened their facilities to house all of the new students. All of the ‘satellite schools' grew. Amazing Turn Around!As the Christian School System grew, the Government Schools were left with only the worst of the inner-city welfare students, the children of alcoholics-&-drug addicts, with many of the students using substance themselves. Rape occurred on the school campus. Guards were there every day. Violence and crime in the Government School escalated in alarming proportion to the nearly unmentioned falling test-schools. Problems became malignant at the Government School. Good faculty moved on. The huge new facility had so few students, that 80% of the building wasn’t even used, and they couldn’t afford to heat and maintain the rest of it. Vandalism was unstoppable. Financial deficits sky-rocketed. Eventually the Government shut it down, and was discussing how to force the ill-behaved students to attend a School for Delinquent Students in the old city school building, removed from "condemned status". Amazing Opportunity!Ministers and leaders of the Christian School, seeing the public problem - and the opportunity-with-responsibility for seriously needed ministry - decided to open a new school, a ‘reform-type school’ for these students, with the dedicated goal of ministering Christ to them and their families. With the opening of “New Life-No Limits” Christian School, there was no longer a Government School in this City of Anytown, USA. Amazingly! . . . . . . without Government Schools, property taxes reduced 90% . . . and most of the Christians passed their savings on to Church Ministry. With the exuberance that accompanies a flood of cash, they FIRST THOUGHT they would use this to purchase the formerly Government High-School facility, and make a ‘Consolidated Christian School’ with great sports teams, science labs, school nurse & psychologist, driver’s-ed, a great library, with all the trimmings-&-trappings! Everyone was SO EXCITED! Amazing Insight!Thankfully, before they could meet, vote, and do it, the oldest Minister among them wrote a letter explaining all of the problems he had witnessed from the One-Room Schools of his youth to the massive-multi-million-dollar complexes of the current day, problems that arise when anything too large evolves . . . as hierarchy avails, gangs and bullying prevails, and anonymity allows many to ‘fall-through-the-cracks’. . . . including sins! His letter was also filled with Scripture expounding the great success of the Hebrew Synagogue System - the One-Room-Schools set-up to preserve God’s Constitution-&-Bylaws . . . That is the “TEN Commandments and the LAW of Moses . . . . . . the Custom-&-Culture of God’s ‘Chosen-&-Constructed Nation’ - Israel: making them the most successful nation of all time, existing under one Constitution-&-Law for over 1600 years. [Comparatively, the longest reigning Constitution of the Modern day is the present US Constitution of 220 years duration]. He filled his letter with the Scriptures for the great success of Hebrew Synagogues - the system that produced Jesus, Paul, Peter, James and John - which Jesus never stopped attending - or supporting . . . . . . nor did He command Christians forsake or renounce! Paul visited Synagogues by the hundred - world-wide - asking them to change nothing about their structure, EXCEPT to convince them that “Jesus was the Christ!” . . . their long-awaited Messiah, thus fulfilling and ending the “animal-sacrifice-holy-place system of Temple Worship. Amazing Quality Control!He further reminded that Jesus - being a Carpenter surrounded by rugged men . . . and women who ministered unto Him out of the substance-wealth . . . could have easily built the largest building and gathered the congregation ever known - had He so desired, but He didn’t “so-desire. In fact, all New Testament Churches were in Houses: small in number, but with great quality control. He also pointed out the simple fact the “House-Churches and Synagogue-Schools" grew until they took over the whole world - the Roman Empire in those days. Thus the 'Wise Old Minister' warned against taking the 75 little Christian schools of 25-40 students each, and consolidating into one giant Christian School . . . that would be difficult to maintain “Quality Control.” Amazing Leadership!"School families", he pointed out work best, work best when modeling "Scriptural families!" > > Just one father per home, > > Just one mother per home, > > Older siblings developing responsibility by helping the younger siblings, > > Even if there are 5 to 25 children in the home! Amazingly, School families, also work best as follows:> > Just one Pastor per school, > > Just one Main-Teacher per school, > > With some volunteer "teacher-aides" or older students developing responsibility by helping the younger students, > > Even if there are 15 to 35 children Amazing Spirituality!Thankfully, the people realized their "huge-Christian-School" error, and stopped that idea cold. Instead, they decided to use the new building to establish a Community Christian College - “Tuition Free!” > > With all students taking Bible Courses each semester, > > With all students going soul-winning with the staff every week, > > With all students having serious daily prayer meetings, > > With all students attending Chapel with on-fire preaching, > > And with all students having serious Ministry with their home Churches. This worked so well, that within a decade or so 50% of the population, then 60%, then 75%, then eventually 90% of the whole city became Christian! Amazing Results!Serious Christians were elected to City Council and offices. All meetings and sessions began with serious prayer. Crime in the city decreased greatly. Divorce and all manner of domestic abuse decreased as well. Many laws were changed to be Scriptural, and used Scripture word-for-word. Inversely, employment became almost 100%. Most businesses closed on the Lord's day with no drop in revenue, as all of the people simply did their shopping the day before or after. Welfare simply faded away as people became saved, worked harder and longer, and had "free college" . . . for as much college as they needed at the Christian Community College. Prosperity boomed with the honesty, no threat of lawsuits, desire to provide great service and highest quality products. People came from many miles around to purchase cars and all manner of large ticket items - like in the Movie Flywheel!" People also came from hours away for serious auto repair, home repair and construction of all kinds. People came from even further away for Christian financial services, banking insurance and all manner of business needs. Other honest and Christian business moved in from several states away. Employees incomes were double the national average for the same work for three reasons: > > The employees were worth it, > > The businesses could afford it, > > Like Henry Food a century ago: the more money the employees had, the more they spent locally and the more every business had a "certain future!" Amazing Influence!The city was so blossoming and so prospering, the news slowly spread over the nation. In time, there were Mayors and City Councils from every state in the USA who came to learn the secrets of the most prosperous city in the world! Jails closed down and became "YMCA-type facilities. Some lawyers had to move because of the great decrease of lawsuits . . . as most people with "true misunderstandings" . . . didn't need judges and lawyers . . . but simply took their problems to the Church Elders for arbitration (Just like in the Bible days!!!) Saved everyone a fortune! Amazing Consequences!Eventually, the Christian City of Light sent out "City Council members and leaders to go to other communities . . . to lead them down the road on a "Journey to Scriptural Peace and Prosperity!" . . . sadly, it is taking some doing to get American Politicians and citizens to see that this great city-wide prosperity . . . all began with: > > One Pastor’s wife who insisted that a Christian School had to be started! > > A Christian School that became a "tuition-free Ministry" with a goal to reach every young person in town. In time, this scenario could be duplicated all over the USA, and the anti-Christ, pagan, homosexual, cross-gender, anti-patriotic, anti-parental Government Schools - with their violence, ignorance, sex and pagan-heathen philosophy - become nothing by a bad memory . . . of what happens when God and His Word are ignored.
