A Chaplain's "Major Purpose" is EXACTLY the same as each and every other truly called Minister of God: TO WIN SOULS!
Jesus makes it very, very plain:
> > "Follow me, and I will make you to become 'Fishers-of-Men' . . .
> > From henceforth, you shall catch men!"
 All Religions are equal
 All Christs are equal
 All Bibles are equal
 All Religious Customs are equal
Thus Politically Correct "Cultism" - and most of the Chaplain organizations on the Internet, seek to educate the "Modern Chaplain" to be a "Secular Chaplain" as follows:
The "Modern Secular Chaplain"
> > Treats all religions the same, and as equal,
> > Worship of Satan is equal to worship of Jesus Christ
> > Wicca and witches are equal to Christians and Christ,
> > Learns about all religions, and Ministers each one to people's preference
> > Ministers all religions without a true personal belief that any one of them is correct, and the other false,
> > Ministers each religion's custom at that time of year.
This is the Philosophy of US Government Chaplains and those preferred to be employed in Federal Hospitals, Prisons, the US Congress and the Military. Chaplains lose their jobs continually in the USA for praying, preaching, counseling or ministering in anyway in Jesus' Name.
In case you live in a rural area, or a Bible Belt region, where Chaplains may mention the name of Jesus once in a while when the "Thought Police" aren't looking, and if you think we are overstating the case of how anti-Bible, anti-Christ "Modern American Chaplaincy really is we have listed below a typical Chaplain's Schedule for the next three months activities for you to see the multi-Religious pluralistic nonsense that is Anti-Christ, blasphemy and sinful to the core.

My friend, the very first commandment God spoke to humanity is simple and very clear:
Thou shalt not have any other gods.God's Word also commands us as follows:
Deut. 13:6 If thy brother, (. . . or anyone) entice thee saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
Deut. 13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
Deut. 13:8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
Deut. 13:9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
Deut. 13:10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deut. 13:11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
Deut. 13:12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
Deut. 13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
Deut. 13:14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
Deut. 13:15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
U.S. Constitution is in Great error
We Americans are so blind to our own sins. Most American Christians have more faith in the U.S. Constitution than the Word of God.
> The U.S. Constitution says "Freedom of Religion" declaring that 'worship of satan is as good as worship of Christ', . . . and the 'Lucifer is equal to Jesus Christ!' This is what our Constitution guarantees to all citizens.
> > > Of course God says this is horribly wrong, and worshipers of false gods are to be put to death!
> The U.S. Constitution says "Freedom of Religion" and guarantees that 'false religions can build false temples and mosques to false gods and that their religion is equal to Jesus Christ!' This is what our Constitution guarantees to all citizens.
> > > Of course God say this is horribly wrong and worship of false gods are to be put to death.
> The U.S. Constitution says "Freedom of Speech" and guarantees that anyone can curse the Holy Name of God, and mock and blaspheme His Name! This is what our Constitution guarantees to all citizens.
> > > Lev 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.
My friend, it is proper for our U.S. Constitution to guarantee us the right to speak truth, to question our leaders, to address public grievances, to speak and question Congress-persons, and City Councils, businesses and each other . . .
. . . but American Freedom of Speech should NOT guarantee the right to "BLASPHEME the HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, . . .
. . . and to mock and ridicule His Name!
As a Chaplain, you must make a choice!
You must decide:
> Is the U.S. Constitution is right, and our Great God wrong?
> > Or, is the Great God our Saviour, and His Holy Inspired Scripture right, and the secular, modernist U.S. Constitution wrong?
> Is the U.S. Government & Constitution "Lord of all?"
> > Or is Jesus Christ of Nazareth "LORD of Lords and Lord of all things" including the U.S Government?
> Is the U.S. Constitution "Inspired and Inerrant?"
> > Or is the Holy Word of God "Inspired and Inerrant?"
As a Chaplain, Walking in Wisdom
A Chaplain represents Jesus, not a denomination
A Chaplain represents Jesus, not an association, organization, or seminary
A Chaplain must therefore realize, that the "calling" comes from God, and the purpose is exactly the same as other Ministers Christ has called:
Jesus says: "For the Son of Man is come to SEEK-&-to-SAVE that which is lost." Luke 19:10
We are all commanded to "Do the work of an evangelist!"
We are all commanded to "Teach all persons all things!"
We are all commanded to "Peach the word, even at a moment's notice!" (KJV has be instant in season or out of season)
So the Chaplain has a spiritual "tight-rope" to walk in two ways:
> > To Minister to all people "OF" all religions and beliefs,
> > To Minister Jesus Christ and salvation REGARDLESS what the people may, or may not, already understand and believe.
My Fellow-Laborer: The Chaplain must always remember, . . . that even though you are praying with the sick at a hospital, comforting the dying, talking with those at a homeless shelter, helping at an emergency situation, assisting at a Wal*mart Store, or any other Chaplaincy situation. . . .
** The people you are Ministering to need Jesus more than comfort!
** The people you are Ministering to need Jesus more than food or shelter!
** The people you are Ministering to need Jesus more than your counsel or encouragement!
** The people you are Ministering to need Jesus more than advice on how to quit drugs or alcohol!
** The people you are Ministering to need Jesus more than hope for tomorrow!
As a Chaplain, if you have helped them receive Jesus as Saviour . . . # You have helped them gain the "New Birth!"
# You have helped them become a "New Creation in Christ Jesus!"
# You have helped them gain the "Friend who sticketh closer than a brother!"
# You have helped them receive the Holy Spirit "who is their "Advocate!"
# You have helped them receive "Jesus Christ who is their Counselor!"
As a Chaplain, if you can give them a New Testament or Promise Bible . . . # You have given them "God's Inspired Word!"
# You have given them "God's Guide Book for Life!"
# You have given them "God's Manual for all Life-situations!"
# You have given them the source of "faith that cometh by hearing and hearing by "the Word of God!"
# You have given them "God's Greatest earthly source of Comfort & strength!"
As a Chaplain, it is a good idea to carry extra New Testaments
It is a great Ministry to carry extra New Testaments every where you go. Wise chaplains also carry "New Birth Certificates" to fill out and give to every person who is "Born Again" this time into the Kingdom of God
At "Cambridge Confederation of Bible Christian Chaplains, we have the very best "New Birth Certificates" money can buy . . . they are beautiful and powerful to help the New Convert always remember the time and place, the person who shared Christ with them and when they absolutely trusted Jesus as Saviour.
There is a place on these beautiful "New Birth Certificates" for you as the Soul-winner to sign your name and for them to sign their name and date it properly.
This way, satan can never make them doubt what they have done, when and where and they only need to have faith that God ALWAYS keeps His word and for trusting Christ as Saviour, they do have Eternal Life!
As a Chaplain, you must always remember who you really represent: JESUS CHRIST!
Yes, you want to Minister to your community and/or situation, but you are the Personal Representative of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Yes the people to whom you Minister need Comfort . . . Kind words . . . Hope . . . Faith for the next day or even the next hour . . . they need Counsel . . . perhaps food-water-shelter-or medical attention, but most of all, they need Jesus Christ to live in their heart to work the on-going-miracle of Eternal Salvation!
Yes, we are to minister to all people of all faiths and all races; in all situations and all places; of all attitudes and beliefs, without ever showing disrespect, or showing a preferences for one person over another.
However, though we Minister without prejudice or bias to all people of all faiths or no faith, we Minister the SAME Jesus to all: the atheist, Hindu, Muslim, Secular Humanist, the blasphemer, the gang-members, the God-haters, the anti-Christ person, and the despisers of Christianity: even if they mock, curse or ridicule you or Jesus Christ!
Somehow, some way, we must let them know that JESUS is their ONLY ultimate answer, and their ONLY true hope for tomorrow
As such, we urge you, beg of you, and plead with you - FIRST OF ALL - to let your "First Official Certification" as a Chaplain be in "Personal Evangelism!"
Next Steps as Chaplain! Now that you have completed the FIVE LESSONS, we are ready to "Ordain" you as "Chaplain". . . just send us an email letting us know you have completed the FIVE LESSONS - with your Reaction Response below - and that you still desire to be Ordained as Chaplain, and we will do it as soon as possible . . . hopefully within 24-hours.
However, if you remember from reading the INTRO or LESSON-2
. . . being "Ordained Chaplain" is the actual starting place for a person who truly wants to Minister as a Fully-Qualified, "Full-Chaplain."
> > The Full-Chaplain needs to "Register" with an Organization. (If you wish to register with Cambridge Confederation Bible Christian Chaplains just mark below on the Reaction Response Return Email: there is NO CHARGE to Register with CCBCC)
> > The Chaplain needs to be "Endorsed" by a recognized agency. (If you wish to be Endorsed by Cambridge Theological Seminary, just mark below on the Reaction Response Return Email, AND make a short call to 740.685.2159 . . . OR write out your calling to Chaplaincy and how you would like your Chaplaincy Ministry to develop in your area: there is NO CHARGE for our Endorsement)
> > After these steps, the Chaplain needs to become "Certified" in the areas they wish to work, from hospital to Police or Fire dept, to Wal*mart to local Courts to Schools to sports teams to being "On-Call" for personal needs in one's community.
Again, watch local papers, as their are classes for Certification and training programs in all cities, almost every week-end for Chaplaincy. The more areas of Certification one has "credentials for" . . . the more likely one is to be "appointed officially" by a Court, School, Fire Dept, etc.
We recommend you start by being "Certified in Evangelism" (which will be required for the Cambridge Theological Seminary "Endorsement" starting 2010). Once again, there is NO CHARGE for Chaplaincy Certification in Evangelism.
For any of these procedures, simply check on the Reaction Response Email below:
