 Cambridge Theological Seminary International has a GREAT MISSION - a very serious MISSION - and a very different MISSION from any other Seminary we know.
"To Empower, Enable, and Educate Ministers of Lord Jesus the Christ!"
Our deepest desire is to succeed in this calling, as much as possible: > > Helping EVERY Believer to become an "Ordained Minister" . . . (ALL in the Body-of-Christ are to Minister . . . there is no Spiritual Office of "Spectator!")
> > Helping EVERY Ordained Minister to become established in the "Priorities of Christ" . . . No straining of gnats while swallowing camels:
* * * * * Major on what Christ Majored on, * * * * * Minor on what Christ Minored on, * * * * * and IGNORE what Christ ignored!
> > Helping EVERY qualified Christian Leader with a "Doctorate" - using the title wisely as a weapon for the Kingdom of Christ! (There are MANY Christian leaders with a combination of College-Credits, CLEP, and some Life Experience who DO qualify for the Doctor of Divinity Degree . . .
. . . who need it and should use it wisely . . . as did Dr. Billy Graham, Dr. Jerry Falwell, Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. Oral Roberts, Dr. jack Hyles, even "Dr. Ben Franklin, American Founding Father!
Our Ministry Uniqueness So dedicated are we to the task of "Empowering" Ministers world-wide, that we "Ordain the Doctorate of Divinity" upon all who qualify without charging a single cent . . . without even asking a love-offering!
Our Mission is NOT
Perhaps you can understand more easily by understanding what our Mission is NOT:
[1] Our Mission is NOT to "Copy-&-Mimic" Ivy League Schools . . . instead we despise Ivy League Schools with their "Politically-Correct-Cultism" . . . evolutionistic, secularistic, hedonistic, homosexual-embracing, anti-Christ, anti-Scriptural, atheistic, "all-religions-are-equal" philosophy, they all represent.
Thus we do NOT accept their credits as valid toward any of our Degrees.
[2] Our Mission is NOT to "build a massive, wealthy campus where builds are 'nearly idolized' and become 'The-Tail that-Wags-the-Dog'!" Christ was a Carpenter/builder with many men available, and could have easily built a building . . . had He believed this was either,
> > [A] a proper way to teach His Law & Principles . . . or > > [B] a proper use of time and money at His disposal.
[3] Our Mission is NOT to build a massive 'Trust-Fund' . . . in billions of dollars. In fact, when Christ asked the Rich Young Ruler to follow Him and sell all that he had. . . Jesus didn't even urge him to put the money from all that he sold into Christ's Ministry Purse . . .
. . . rather, Jesus commanded him just to "give it to the poor."
> > [4] Our Mission is NOT to "write the most books or produce scholars" to write tumultuous tomes on the various nuances of obscure cultural and linguistic idiosyncratic and idiomatic phrases of Scripture."
There are more treatises and Doctoral Theses and Dissertations on "Gnats of Knowledge" that never get anyone saved and do not matter in the least to the Kingdom of Christ!
In fact, we seek to do the opposite: "Jesus commanded do NOT strain at GNATS while swallowing CAMELS!"
Our Mission is to take care of the camels, and "let the nit-pickers" take care of the gnats!"
Forget the worthless nuances: "MAJOR ON MAJORS!"
