Could there have been LADY Shepherds in the fields the day Christ was born?

The male Shepherds were ABIDING in the fields with their flocks as Nomadic Bedouins - living there completely, and traveling with their flocks from pasture to pasture, just as we read throughout the Old Bible from Abraham, Isaac & Jacob to Moses, David , and many of the Prophets but they were not living alone: they lived in the fields with their wives.

What if Christ had been born in Texas?

What if the Scripture centuries ago said: “And there were COWBOYS abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their cattle by night? We all KNOW the “Cowboy Custom” in the USA and it has NEVER been the common thing for Cowboys to LIVE in the fields with their families in caves and tents, traveling from pasture to pasture: RIGHT?.

Just as surely as we know the American Cowboy custom, the equally well-known Bedouin custom of the Middle East is for Nomadic Shepherds to live in the fields with their families.

This researcher has personally been to the Middle East and walked among the Bedouin Shepherds. I have personally visited them, talked with them and watched the Lady Shepherds keeping their flocks, right in the very fields surrounding the Bethlehem area.

Nomadic Bedouins have long been poor, without property, money, means, and without stature. In fact, in some parts of the Middle East, the Bedouins are found living in old USA ARMY TENTS! Yet God Almighty chose Nomadic Shepherds over the High Priest & Levites, over Sadducees & Herodians, over the Lawyers & Scribes.

God sent a ‘sky-full-of-Angels’ magnifying & praising the Christ, along with a personal message & instruction from ALMIGHTY GOD to these humble Shepherds - ABIDING literally living in the fields: that His Son - and their Saviour - was born that day in the City of David: Bethlehem!

The humility of the Christmas Story can not be over-emphasized. Indeed the Bedouins were reminiscent of Christ later exclaiming: “The foxes have holes and the birds have nests: but the son of man - and He easily could have said ‘the son of God!’ - has no place to lay His head!
