Note of Understanding A "Council of Godly Elders" - from the 70 who accompanied Moses to confront Pharaoh, all through the ages to the New Testament Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 and beyond - have been the great leaders of God's people, the 'counselors', the advisors, of and to, God's people. These are the people who help us guide the Ministries of the Cambridge Confederation of Great Commission Churches (C.C.G.C.C.) which includes Cambridge Theological Seminary International with over 20,000 local Churches, and 106 Seminary Satellites serving 156 nations as 6-1-2010. Their advice has Scriptural Authority rather than legal worldly Authority. Thus we make decisions from their trusted advice, and not by a "Corporate Board of Directors." For the USA operations, with some of them we communicate daily.
We at Cambridge Theological Seminary do not seek to copy the world. We do not pattern after "Harvard and Yale". Neither do we copy General Motors or WalMart. Therefore, we have neither CEO's, or 'Chairman of the Board' - neither President, Chancellor, nor Vice-President, Deans, Trustees, etc., like worldly governments, State Universities, secularized churches, and unscriptural denominations usually do.

Any para-church organization that is NOT under the authority of the Church of Lord Jesus Christ is NOT Scriptural, no matter how big or popular the organization is].
Likewise, we do not seek the worldly permission to be "allowed" to start local Churches or their ministries, nor worldly approval, appreciation, or acceptance. Neither do we do use their "Language". Furthermore, we neither seek - nor accept - their grants, loans.
Our "major hope" for increased Ministry is NOT seeking money from an anti-Christ government. We are determined not to compromise our Christian and Scriptural stand . . . while watering-down the Message of Jesus Christ . . . in order to receive their grants and loans . . . while pleading for their approval and begging for the crumbs from their 'rich0man's-table. This is not Scriptural.
Abraham, Father of the Faithful - [and ALL who belong to Christ are his seed! Galatians 3:31] - refused the money from the "Pagans and Sodomites!" So do we!
So, dear fellow-Laborer instead of fancy worldly secular titles, we are Family, Brothers/Sisters, Ministers, Deacons, Elders, Soul-Winners, Teachers, Pastors, Evangelists, Pastors, Apostle/Missionaries, Bishops, Scribes, Doctors, . . . we are not "CEO's", Corporate Directors, Presidents, Chancellors, Chairmen and Board Members.
Please don't be offended. We reject all forms of secular worldliness, worldly terminology, worldly models, and renounce all "looking toward Sodom" for worldly wealth, programs and approval, whatever that may be.
We believe God gave to all of humanity - through the Word of God and the Lord Christ Jesus - the legal and governmental structure He wanted us to have, for the home, the Church, the community and the nations.
