George Washington, His 10 Greatest Successes

George Washington is one-of-four American Presidents Memorialized on Mount Rushmore. George Washington is always nominated for title of “Greatest American President”, and when evaluations are made, or polls taken, he always ranks high, usually winning.

After all, George Washington is the "Father of our Country", and Abraham Lincoln seems to be his only real competitor for this title. However, there is a mystery: “The Truth" about Gorge Washington is not known, because it has never been told, because it has never been understood. . . at least not since his generation.

FACT: There is no book about George Washington in existence that explains his "Basic Beliefs" - his "Core Values" - his well thought-out, life long philosophy, upon which he became the most successful man in the modern world, only exceeded by Christ, Paul, Moses, David and the Biblical Heroes.

But how can George Washington not be known, so many ask?

George Washington was our first Commander-in-Chief-&-President, studied now for these more than 200 years: what could possibly be learned that is not known?

First of all, realize that there are over 65,000 papers in the George Washington Archives in the Library of Congress. For centuries, only a few people were able to study a few of these documents, their being very fragile for age, and very valuable for many reasons.

Most who looked at these had already made up their mind what and who they wanted him to be - and neglected truth - to selectively choose quotes that supported their agenda, whether to the right or left. Thus the fullest comprehensive study is yet to be made and it is not this one. However, this one does take some large steps in the journey.

George Washington’s papers mostly being available on the Internet now allows them to be analyzed, compared, evaluated and interpreted in light of all the other papers, rather than through the slanted writings of someone with a twisted agenda like biographer Remsberg of a century ago.

Thus George Washington is now being studied as follows:

* his over 10,000 personal letters written;

* with many more letters received;

* with his writings for publishing (General's Orders, etc.);

* his public many speeches in military & government;

* his court documents;

* his business documents and receipts;

* his presidential papers;

* his many statements to peers, friends, foes, and family, with statements by peers, friends, foes and family;

* the newspaper articles of 25 years;

* the Masonic Lodge records of speeches and notes for 50 years;

This has not been accomplished except to a marginal degree, with Dr. Peter Lillback making the most thorough study at the present time (AD 2010) with his book "George Washington: Sacred Fire" using a quote of Washington on "Sacred Fire."

Dr. Lillback's book is took 15 year's research (while leading an institution of higher learning) and is over 1200 pages with hundreds of footnotes. We urge you to get this book.

George Washington is unique among American Presidents for several distinctive reasons, but at least one major reason is unique: he led this nation for nearly 25 years - more than Adams, Jefferson, & Madison combined, more than Lincoln, Monroe & Teddy Roosevelt combined, more than Reagan, Clinton & Bush-II combined.

[10] George Washington personally led the New Nation for 25 Years;

[1] George Washington, without a single day's formal schooling: whether age 6, 12, 18, or 24, mastered 'Surveying' on his own (it requires lot's of algebra, geometry and trigonometry!) and became a "Scout-Explorer" on par with 'Lewis-&-Clark', traveling and surveying the Ohio Valley for years while still a teenager, appointed to Public Office in a land office at age 17!

[2] George Washington became a estate owner of the Mt. Vernon mansion, with over60,000 acres property!

[3] George Washington, without a single day's formal schooling excelled in business, marketing and exporting, and became America's first "Billionaire!" (modern money)

[4] George Washington overcame a life-long difficult relationship with his mother, by leaving home at age 16 to join the Military achieving "Commander of the American Armies", on Par with Colin Powell, David Patraeus, etc;

[5] George Washington volunteered to Lead Continental Armies in 1775, and was voted unanimously to that position by the Continental Congress - survived Valley Forge, starting with 28,000 troops, losing 500 a month to disease, and many more to desertion, ending the Winter with only 2,200 men -

- still to face British forces of 30,000, when by a "Miracle Fog" he escaped, when the British were drunk and achieved his greatest victory, inspiring great hope and re-enlistment of thousands!

Tears later, George Washington won a major war - becoming a heroic soldier as a teen-ager, having several holes shot through his clothes and horses shot from underneath him in the British Military in French & Indian skirmishes; he later led US Armies to Victory in the Revolutionary War, a success on par with General's Patton, MacArthur and Eisenhower;

[6] George Washington achieved success in public elections, and became Representative for Free Men of Blue Ridge region: 1752-1759; a member of Virginia’s British House of Burgess: 1759-1774; and a became member of Continental Congress from Virginia: 1774-1775;

[7] George Washington was a promoter of the "Declaration of Independence: but was in the distant field with troops, and never got to sign it, but he did sign the earlier Articles of Association of the USA, its very first founding document on 1774;

[8] George Washington could have been declared ‘King of the USA’ had he so desired after the War - and almost every newspaper and politician at home and abroad was certain he would simply declare himself "King George-I of the United States of America - but he shocked the whole world - and chose to release the reigns of supreme power to the lowly Continental Congress & Articles of Confederation! [9] George Washington was chosen unanimously to Preside over the U.S. Constitutional Convention of 1787, and saw it through successfully, to be what is today the "Longest Ruling Constitutional Democracy on Earth: at 221 years running;

[13] George Washington joined Masonic Lodge 11-4-1752 & served nearly 50 years, quickly up their hierarchy of Masonic Degrees, achieving the highest rank, after 36 diligent years of effort; was three-times nominated "Grand Master Mason" of all the USA; was eventually named a “Worshipful Master” in Virginia in 12-20-1788;

And he was only person to be President of USA & Worshipful Master, simultaneously; with the Masons world-wide declaring him their greatest member ever after, and establishing a great Monument in his honor in Washington D.C., with an organization in his honor that has one of the biggest budgets of all legacy organizations for any human being of all time;

* Legislation mandates no monument, skyscraper, or structure will ever be taller than George Washington’s Monument;

* George Washington’s Monument was the first building by modern architecture to exceed the ‘Great Pyramid’ of Egypt, becoming the World’s Tallest Structure;

* George Washington University was established in WDC in his honor;
