The mysteries are "how" the facts came to be, "why", and the "results" there of.

[1] How did George Washington become a ‘Billionaire” in his generation (In 21st-century values of purchasing power):

[of whom Fairfax, Virginia, is named today] With Lord Fairfax being the super-wealthy, British political & legal power broker, a local tax collector, etc., how and why did he become Washington’s mentor at age 16 through middle twenties?

[3] Was it Lady Fairfax who found such great favor in young George Washington? Was it she who got her husband to "have him around so much? Did Lord Fairfax ever find out about George’s affair with his young wife Lady Fairfax Sarah Cary? Was this why George and Lord Fairfax fell out and ended their mentorship?

[4] How did George Washington get full control and ownership of Mt. Vernon?

His dad died leaving his eldest son Lawrence - several years older than George (a son by a precious marriage) as legal guardian with his widow Mary-Ball Washington.

[6] Once young George did get complete control (while still a teen-ager) why did George Washington put all his family off the Plantation - including his mother - eventually leaving his Mother a destitute widow, having to write him in coming years to ask for butter, . . .

. . . and when ignored . . . writing letters to newspapers, calling attention to her destitute state, hoping that even if George had no love for his widowed-mother, that public shame might cause him to provide her with a tiny speck of his vast wealth, for some basic staples for her old age!

[7] Why did Washington even refuse for his Mother to come live with him at Mt Vernon in her later years, when she could no longer take care of herself, and had no where to go, and Mount Vernon was a huge Mansion with over 300 slaves to tend their needs?

[8] Did George Washington drop Lady Fairfax Sarah-Cary - wife of Lord Fairfax - in order to marry one of the richest young widows in the whole American colonies: Martha Danbridge Custis?

[9] How did George Washington come to hate the British - of which he was one - leaving his career in their military and joining the rag-tag forces calling themselves the Virginia Militia, stirring up forces against the British till his dying day?

[10] George Washington wore ‘Lead dentures’: lead being extremely toxic to the human body [thus it was taken out of gasoline, house paint and many items in the 1970’s]: how did lead poisoning affect the strange personality that was General Washington:
