MYSTERY & CONTROVERSY:

Many Christians know that Conservative Christianity is strongly against Free-Masonry. Most Americans know that George Washington was a Mason, and the Masons are very proud to claim him.

However, literally all Christian Historians are quick to point out that George Washington joined the Lodge very young - at age 20 in 1752 at Frederickburgh VA - earned his first Three Degrees within a couple of years, but eventually realized the Lodge had nothing to offer compared to the Church.

Thus they say he later dropped the Masonic Lodge and point to a quote from his own Journal that 'he never went back after this (around 1760) - and that it was over thirty years since he had been to the Masonic Lodge.'

Yet there is a National Masonic Monument to George Washington in Washington DC, supported by millions world-wide, with a plethora of pictures, letters, documents, Washington's Masonic garments he wore;

There are claims that George Washington even became a "Worshipful Master", had a Masonic Funeral, wore Masonic garb when dedicating the first stone to the US Capitol Building, that even the city of Washington DC was designed along Masonic Principles;

Further claims are that the US currency - especially the dollar-bill with a picture of George Washington - is replete with Masonic symbolism and hidden emblems, all having secret Masonic meaning: from the obvious "ALL-SEEING-EYE of the Masonic God, to the hard-to-find-but-definitely-there "OWL" . . .

The evidence seems overwhelming but the quote from the diary of George Washington seems absolute:

WHO IS CORRECT?

Thankfully, this explanation is very simple. With history, this is not always the case:

[A] George Washington - as with most other Virginians of his day - was a happily British Citizen, served in the British Military, was a Congressional Member in the House of Burgess, and a Member & Vestryman of the Church of England.

[B] Suddenly, George Washington went from a very happy "All-things-British-Wealthy-Aristocrat" to "American-Leader-of-Common-Crude-Often-Illiterate-Uncouth-Country-Pioneer-Patriots".

[C] George Washington turned from being a Loyal British Military Officer who was willing to DIE for the King of England - and seeking to advance as high as possible, even willing to take training in England . . .

. . . to absolutely "hating & despising all-things-British", and dedicating his life to stirring-up the rebellion & revolution against the British, while striving to 'KILL' as many of them as possible!

[D] George Washington's "Great Philosophical Turn-Around" is one of the most incredible events in world history. What caused this? What made him go from a willingness to "Die for the British cause" to seeking to "Kill the British & Destroy their cause"?

[E] This is a separate issue, but within it lies the answer to the Washington Lodge Mystery: [I] Did he drop out of the Lodge completely as Christian Historians teach that his diary says?

Or [II] did he remain an ever-more-faithful-member his whole life as the National George Washington Masonic Memorial teaches?

'Why George Washington Came to "Hate the British"!'

[F] Once George Washington dropped the British Military, he became Commander of the Virginia Militia, turning against England and all things British - seeking day & night from that day forward to urge Americans to REBEL against British Authority and form a New Nation.

[G] When George Washington turned against the British, he also dropped out of the British Version of the Masonic Lodge with British Loyalties, and joined a brand new Independent Masonic Lodge, which eventually became the American Version of the Masonic Lodges - as the separate-Lodge situation remains to the modern day.

[H] Just as the Church of England, the Anglican Church - which was also the Official State Church of Virginia - CONVERTED to become the American Version calling itself the Episcopal Church when the American Colonies turned against the British and sought independence, the Masonic Lodge went through the same transformation.

[I] In both institutions - Anglican Church & British Lodge - the basic principles did NOT change, but the loyalties, the patriotism, the tenor & tone of the Colonies vs. the British Empire: that's what changed.

[J] Surely this metamorphosis is clearly seen as natural, logical and easily understood. If not, there is much on the web about it.

[K] Explaining that transformation is NOT the purpose of this document. This document is to verify George Washington's extreme devotion to Masonic Doctrine and purpose.

[L] We simply shared there was a transformation from British to American Lodges to explain Washington's personal statement: that he 'dropped out of the British Lodge at Fredericksburg, and never went back, and that was over 30 years ago';

[M] Even then, maintained life-long membership at the English Fredericksburg Lodge #4, paying his dues, but not attending. No one can be sure why he did this, as he did not say. Perhaps it was to keep Masonic good-will of Masons in England to whom 'Masonic Goals' were more important than 'British Empire Goals'.

[N] After dropping the English Lodge #4 at Fredericksburg, George Washington joined and helped lead the newly ordained Lodge #22 at Alexandria, becoming a staunch leader, faithful attender, diligent worker, heavy contributor, constant promoter, successful organizer, powerful encourager & perfect example: eventually achieving National Masonic Prominence.

[O] Thus Washington in his anger against the British turned his back upon their English Lodge and never went back.

[P] However, he indisputably maintained an active membership in the new Lodge #22 at Alexandria.

[q] It was the Worshipful Grandmaster Elisha C. Dick of Alexandria Lodge #22 whom George Washington called for when he lay dying:

[r] It was the Worshipful Grandmaster Elisha C. Dick of Alexandria Lodge #22 who never left Washington's side for his last days, and was there when he died.

[s] It was George Washington's local Lodge #22 Alexandria where he attended faithfully for years that immediately assumed responsibility for organizing Washington's Funeral.

[t] It was George Washington's local Lodge #22 Alexandria where he attended faithfully for years who financed messengers to take the word of George Washington's death to Fellow Lodges as far including the Masonic Federal Lodge at Washington DC.

[u] It was the Masonic Chaplain Dr. Muir D.D. who of Alexandria Lodge #22 who helped Worshipful Grandmaster Elisha C. Dick officiate George Washington's Funeral.

[v] It was the leadership and membership of Alexandria Lodge #22 - including Lodge Chaplain Dr. Muir, Worshipful Grandmaster Elisha C. Dick, and two other Masonic Ministers who declared Washington as having 'left Earth and passed to the Celestial Lodge'.

[w] It was George Washington's local Lodge #22 Alexandria where he attended faithfully for years, to which much of his personal belongings and Masonic artifacts were given by the family, which eventually became the George Washington Masonic Memorial as it is today - one of the largest memorial organizations of any kind in the world.

[x] It was George Washington's local Lodge #22 Alexandria where he attended faithfully for years that changed their name adding Washington to Alexandria in honor of his many dollars and years of service.

[y] Since George Washington died very unexpectedly, many Masons who would have attended his funeral didn't know he had died until he was already buried. Thus an additional Masonic Memorial Service was held for Washington two months later giving mutltitudes an opportunity to attend.

Here is part of that eulogy by Masonic Worshipful Timothy Bigelow before the Grand Lodge at Washington’s Memorial:

“The information received from our Brethren who had the happiness to be members of the Lodge over which he presided for many years, and of which he died the Worshipful Master, furnishes abundant proof of his persevering zeal for the prosperity of the institution.

Constant and punctual in his attendance, scrupulous in his observance of the regulations of the Lodge, and solicitous, at all times, to communicate light and instruction, he discharged the duties of the Chair with uncommon dignity and intelligence in all the mysteries of our art.”

The facts just stated when broken down:

* * “the Lodge over which he presided for many years, and

* * of which he died the Worshipful Master,

* * furnishes abundant proof of his persevering zeal,

* * for the prosperity of the institution (Masonic Lodge)

* * Constant and punctual in his attendance,

* * scrupulous in his observance of the regulations of the Lodge,

* * and solicitous, at all times, (getting new members)

* * to communicate light and instruction,

* * he discharged the duties of the Chair (of Worshipful Master) with uncommon dignity

* * and intelligence in all the mysteries of our art.”

If what Christian Historians said were actually true - that Washington hadn't been to a Lodge for well over 30 years, can you imagine how ridiculous these accolades would be in the presence of Washington's friends, neighbors & peers:

> to praise him for constant in attendance?

> to praise him for always being punctual?

> etc., etc.

[z] Readers may want to read how George Washington took his Oath of Office on a Masonic Bible from St John's Masonic Lodge, was sworn in by a Grand Master Mason - rather than a US Goverment Official, Judge Senator, Congressman, etc.; chose almost every Military General from Fellow Masons, also Supreme Court Justices, and that John Hancock, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Arron Burr, Andrew Jackson, ad infinitum were all Masons - plus 50-of-the-56 signers of the Declaration of Independence.

The truth is 'schocking for realtiy' especially when one realizes the New Age Magazine since 1953 has been a 'Masonic Magazine! "George Washington Masonic King" is one of the "most Shocking stories of American History" . . . you can't possibly imagine what facts await your reading in just 20 minutes!
