God's Word is a Document of Government
Government of the people, by the people and for the people
Leaders of the United States often quote the famous words, applying them to the government of the USA, as a “government of the people, by the people and for the people.” In fact, President Clinton attributed these famous words to the U.S. Constitution. He was soundly criticized by many, however, who recognized them as the words of President Abe Lincoln from his famous Gettysburg Address. Amazingly, none who heard President Clinton falsely attribute these words, knew their real origin: Bible Scholar John Wycliffe, early translator of God's Word into English. John Wycliffe wrote these amazing words in the introduction of his translation of his translation of Scripture in 1382. * * “This Bible is for the Government of the People, by the People, and for the People.” Conversely, the modern USA is actually a government of, for, and by the "Politically Correct Opinion" of the day, whatever that may be. The USA government is a government of the popular opinion of the majority of the people, which exercises authority over the minority through the ruling law makers it elects, and the judges they appoint. For example: In 1950 when it was the politically correct opinion, homosexuality was an "abnormal psychological condition" which was to be counseled to correct it. In 2010, the politically correct opinion has already corrected this previous popular opinion and has accepted homosexuality as an acceptable alternative lifestyle. It is rapidly moving to be a 'protected minority status' with superior rights to non-homosexual citizens. NO POPULAR OPINION: The Laws of God's Eternal Word were carved in stone and given forever that they might not be changed by popular opinion and passing fancy. God's Law is for all people, of all nations, for all ages, for all eternity. > > God Himself does not change, and cannot change. > > God is NOT wrong, so He doesn't need to "correct anything!" > > God is perfect so He doesn't need to improve anything! > > Thus God cannot change! Malachi 3:6 - "For I am the LORD, I CHANGE not." Because God is One with His Word - which is His Law - His word and His Law cannot change! John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
