KORAN BURNING, Christians, Muslims, Secularists and HYPOCRISY
Most "well-known" Christian leaders have condemned burning the Quran, stating as a Scriptural Principle, "that Christians don't burn other religions' holy books." They pronounce this as an absolute truth, as God's Will, as a "blanket statement" for all people all times of all places. They make it seem very simple for Christians to know, But is this true? Is this in line with the Inspired, Inerrant Word of God? THESIS-1: It is Hypocritical for Christians to advocate for the Koran being a Sacred Holy BookQUESTION: If Christians are sincere in believing the Bible to be the one-&-only Word of God, how can they honor "another Bible", "another Holy and Sacred Book", teaching people to believe in"another God?" Is this not being hypocritical? QUESTION: If Christians are sincere in believing Jesus Christ to be the one-&-only Name given under heaven whereby we must be saved, how can they honor "another Premier Prophet", teaching "another way to Heaven", which openly "denies the Divinity and Salvation by Jesus Christ?" Is this not being hypocritical? What is God's Will Concerning "False Bibles?"> "False Bibles" teach people to worship false Gods, and to deny the Christ, the true God, the Cross and Salvation; > "False Bibles" teach people to blaspheme the One-and-Only, Virgin-Born, Begotten Son of Father God, which Son He gave for the world, the ONLY name under Heaven where by we MUST be saved;
It's as simple as the "separation of church and hate," said the Rev. Rick Warren, a California mega-church pastor who prayed at President Obama's inauguration. "Christians don't burn other religions' holy books." The following authorities agreed: > the National Association of Evangelicals, > the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue > the Southern Baptist leaders > all have issued similar statements leading up to Saturday's anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in American history. > Can you even imagine Muslims telling their people and the world that the Jewish/Christian Bible is a Sacred Holy Book? > And if they did, what would we think about that declaration? (a) One would have to think this Muslim leader were very liberal and not very dedicated to Islam; (b) That this Muslim leader really didn't believe his own Qu'ran (Koran) very strongly, as it teaches it is the ONLY true Scripture; (c) That this Muslim leader was perhaps lying to deceive, and really didn't believe that at all; (d) Or else that this Muslim leader was perhaps a complete hypocrite - not really believing anything except his own opinion! Our dear Christian fellow-laborers: can you not see the situation is the very same, regarding our Christian leaders who declare the ungodly, violence-advocating, blaspheming, anti-Christ Koran to be a Sacred, Holy Book of Scripture, worthy of our greatest honor and respect? We understand politicians saying "all Bibles are equal and holy" - as they generally only care about votes and popularity - not truth and gospel! However, when Christian leaders make these "Politically Correct" political popularity statements, we can only understand it as one of the following: (a) This "Christian leader" (so called, by denying the one-faith, one Christ, one God, and one Word from the beginning) was very liberal and not dedicated to Christ and His Teaching; (b) That this "Christian leader" (so called), really didn't believe God's Word, as it teaches it is the ONLY true Scripture; (c) That this "Christian leader" (so called), was perhaps lying to deceive, and really didn't believe that at all; (d) Or that this "Christian leader" (so called), was a complete hypocrite - not really believing anything except his own opinion!
Therefore, each group should extend to the other the right to burn their Bibles and even encourage them to do so. Why? By allowing and so encouraging Bible burning, each side knows who the "true believers are" - who needs to be convinced, and who is really just playing politics, playing to the politically correct cult, playing to the media . . . or simply in love with their own opinions and popularity: . . . in which case they are completely harmless to the others' cause.
FACT: Muslims don't have to worry about the "lukewarm liberals" - believing nothing and advocating everything from abortion to gays to communism - the Methodists, Episcopalians, most Lutherans and Presbyterians, the Rick Warren's and Jim Wallis's, etc., as they will make no converts among Muslims. These liberal groups who deny the very claims of Christ and God's Word are more apt to join the Muslims than to oppose them, and make well make Mohammad - along with Jesus - ONE of their favorite Prophets! [As some have already done: do a web search]. FACT: Christians don't have to worry about Muslims making converts of Christians among the Islamic elite. Like their American counterparts, money, popularity and political points are what really matter - not converts!

FACT-1: God burnt Sodom and Gomorrah, with all houses of worship and any "so-called" sacred documents about their gods, idols and worship;
I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; And they said, Stand back... And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door... 19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
FACT-2: Moses burnt the "Golden Calf" and any "so-called" sacred documents about its worship; Exo 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
FACT-3: Importantly, Midian had some truth, as Jethro - father-in-law to Moses - knew Jehovah God, advised Moses, rejoiced in Israel escaping Egypt, and Midian was a son of Abraham by Keturah: however, they "mixed" Baal and Balaam with Jehovah and Abraham, and God said: Destroy them all! Nu 31:7-9 And they warred against the MIDIANites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. And they slew the kings of MIDIAN, beside the rest of them that were slain; ... Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. And the children of Israel took all the women of MIDIAN captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
FACT-4: God commanded the idols, idol worshippers, houses of worship and any sacred writings there in, to be burned and utterly destroyed.
De 7:5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. Deut 7:16 And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their GODS; for that will be a snare unto thee. [There is MUCH between these two verses!] Deut 7:25 The graven images of their GODS (whether a book like the Koran or other) shall ye burn with fire: ... for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
FACT-5: The great Revival under the Judge and Military Leader Gideon. God qualified him by having him destroy and burn his father's grove of idols, and use the wood to offer a sacrifice to Jehovah;
And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down. Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.
FACT-6: The great Revival under the Prophet Elijah was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship of BAAL, including their 850 prophets (450 prophets of BAAL, 400 prophets of the groves); 1 Kings 18:38-40 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
FACT-7: The great Revival under the Prophet Elisha was consummated by King Jehu, by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship of BAAL, in a massive slaughter of leaders and followers alike; 2 Kings 10:25-28 And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal. And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them. And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house [Out-House] unto this day. Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.
FACT-8: The great Revival under the Godly King Asa, was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship. 1 Kings 15:11-13 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did David his father. And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
FACT-9: The great Revival under the Godly King Jehoshaphat was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship and getting the Sodomites out of the land. 1 Kings 22:45-46 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 1ki 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites,... he took out of the land.
FACT-10: The great Revival under the Godly King Hezekiah was by destroying all things sacred pertaining to false worship and 2 Chronicles 31:1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all.
FACT-11: The great Revival under the High Priest Jehoida, was by destroying all things sacred pertaining to false worship and 2 Kings 11:17 And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD'S people; between the king also and the people. And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD... And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah (queen) with the sword beside the king's house.
FACT-12: The great Revival under the Godly King Josiah, was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship and getting the sodomites out of the land. 2 Kings 23:4, 6-7 And the king (Josiah) commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Beth-el. And he brought out the grove from the house of the Lord, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people. And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the Lord,
===== 1. They occurred in times of moral darkness and national depression; 2. Each began in the heart of a consecrated servant of God who became the energizing power behind it; 3. Each revival rested on the Word of God, and most were the result of proclaiming God's Word with power; 4. All resulted in a return to the worship of God; 5. Each witnessed the destruction of idols and false worship where they existed; 6. In each revival, there was a recorded separation from sin; 7. In every revival the people returned to obeying God's laws; 8. There was a restoration of great joy and gladness; 9. Each revival was followed by a period of national prosperity.
