It OBVIOUSLY WILL BE ... if we Christians have anything to do about it . . .

The Chaplain at 'Hospice by the Sea' in Boca Raton resigned over a ban on use of the words "God" or "Lord" in public settings.

Signorelli had recently been singled out and verbally warned for delivering a spiritual reflection in the chapel that included the word "Lord" and had "a Christian connotation."

Signorelli has also been verbally rebuked by supervisors for "reading the 23rd Psalm in a Chapel message!"

Signorelli appealed to authorities with no success. Unable to gain support from fellow employees, the public, the media or even fellow Chaplains - Signorelli resigned - rather than be paid to be a hypocrite,

'I will not be silenced for "30-pieces-of-silver"!'

The Rev. Mirta Signorelli said: "I can't do chaplain's work if I can't say 'God'! If you take God away from me, it's like taking a medical tool away from a nurse."

However, the pagan-heathen-Anti-Christ atheists were kind enough to permit in this land of free speech: "Chaplains still speak freely of the Almighty 'in private' sessions with patients or families but not in public!"

Hospice CEO Paula Alderson said the ban on religious references applies to the inspirational messages that chaplains deliver as well. The hospice remains fully comfortable with ministers, priests and rabbis offering religious counsel to the dying and grieving 'in private'.

Can you imagine being a preacher, giving a message and praying. . . all without mentioning "GOD!" much less mentioning Jesus Christ? How can this be in the nation of 'Free Speech for over 200 years'?

Signorelli, a devout Christian who acquired a master's degree in theology after a career as a psychologist. After running a program for abused and neglected children, Signorelli has been ministering to the dying for 13 years and worked at the Hospice of Palm Beach County before moving seven years ago to Hospice by the Sea.

Amazingly, Signorelli was as generic as can be as it was:"I am well aware that there may be people from the Jewish tradition in attendance. I didn't say Jesus or Allah or Jehovah. I used 'Lord' and 'God,' which I think are politically correct. I think that's as generic as you can get."

So sadly, none of the other chaplains objected to the ban on God's name enough to resist, protest or quit!

Equally sad, and somewhat shocking, the hospital administrator Alderson said she was "surprised by Signorelli's reaction to what she characterized as a minor administrative directive! "

Of course, the public officials did as they always do: double speak. Local authority director Karen Stearns said "Palm Beach County has not barred 'God'. It does direct chaplains to be sensitive to patients' religious sensibilities." [Author's note: by BANNING the use of the mention of God!]

What utter unconstitutional non-sense!

What was the response by the Christian Community? JUST WORDS!

Mathew Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, a religious-freedom organization based in Orlando said: "That seems quite bizarre, and a significant restriction on her freedom of speech," Staver said.

In Obama speach: "Just Words!"

Staver's mild, polite "comment" will surely return freedom-of-speech, will it not?

What if Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, et. al. had that much devotion and zeal and love for the nation, and said to the abuses of King George-III of England: "That seems quite bizarre, and a significant restriction on our freedom of speech!"

Had they done so, there would never have been a USA!
