Dear applicant:

[1] We will be glad to Ordain you.

[2] Please know that "Ministerial Ordination" does NOT allow you to perform weddings. You need a State License to do this.

[3] Only a county or state can License you to perform weddings and sign the necessary papers for the Courthouse and to register the newly-wed-couple with the IRS as being married

[3] You must check with your local Clerk of Courts who will instruct what to do and what you need.

[4] You may need only the "Letter of Good Standing" that we post for you on a private website.

[5] You may need this with a Minister's License

[6] You may need either of these - or both - "Notarized with two 'Live Signatures'!", in which case you will have to let us know and there is a a $33 dollar cost on our end to have this done for you.

[7] Weddings and state licenses are a real hassle, cost anywhere from $10 to $500 from state to state, have to be renewed, and can be removed by the state if your preach or tech what they do not approve of.

[8] Having a State License obligates you to marry whomever asks you and even refusing to perform a "ceremony" of some kind for gays - which if you refuse - may get you a very expensive lawsuit which you will likely lose.

[9] We do not recommend for anyone to get involved with the "State Licensing of Ministers" and the imposing of state secular Laws upon them.

[10] We recommend a two-part process for Marriage:

> > The secular part, with a license by the couple being married, from the state and a licensed civil authority performing the civil ceremony (a two-minute occasion in a Judge's office) and filing the IRS papers with the Courthouse, etc.

> > The spiritual part, where you as an Ordained Minister, performs the Spiritual Ceremony - whether in a Home, Garden, Park or Public House of Worship - with family and friends and reception, etc.

All of these different steps take time and money, so please be advised in advance.
