As they search among themselves for a New Reagan, Limbaugh booms loud and clear to Talk-Radio Republicans three hours a day, five days a week on well over 600 radio stations across America. A $400-million contract and title of most America's Most Influential Talk Radio Personality [voted by industry professionals] is proof-positive, but icing-on-the-cake is President Obama's decision to pick a fight with him as soon as the Inauguration is over. Obama called out his nemesis by names hosted Republican lawmakers at the White House. "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," Obama said, pitching his economic stimulus plan. Rush was hardly frightened and replied immediately: "I am Rush Limbaugh, the man President Obama has instructed you not to listen to!" Thus he has a new moniker to add to his eve growing list: Founder of the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies, America's Truth Detector; the Doctor of Democracy; the Most Dangerous Man in America (to Democrats!) and the All-Knowing, All-Sensing, All-Everything Maha Rushie.
Recent polls show that despite Obama's recent election and media mania, his approval ratings are falling as public support has declined for his stimulus bill - since Limbaugh et.al. Hanity, Beck, Savage, Hewitt, Ingraham, Cunningham, etc., and a host of his broadcast brethern began railing against it. Since Rush is effecting the President's approval polls, media is seeking to effect Rush by showing low approval ratings for him - so they hoped. Gallup’s' Approval Poll of Limbaugh backfired: > > He is more popular than President Obama by 62% - 60% > > He is more popular than President Reagan when leaving office. > > He is more popular than Prince Harry Reid in Reid's home state! > > Rush is even more popular among Democrats than is the Democratic Congress at 22%! > > He is more popular than Hillary by 62% - 38% > > Rush is the most Popular Republican in the nation! That's not surprising. That's why he is the de-facto leader of TALK-RADIO-REPUBLICANS!
