The ‘Lens’ Through Which All Knowledge Is Understood;

THE WORD of GOD, AXIOM-1:

"IF" there exists any such thing as 'The Word of God'; [and much evidence proves such does exist:]

"THEN" by inherent definition - it must be:

Holy, Inspired, Inerrant, Intrepid, Infallible, Infinitive, Invincible, Indestructible, Inexhaustible, Inalienable, Immutable, Implacable, Impossible-to-Improve: Eternal and Indubitable NEVER FAILING and ALL CONQUERING!

DEDUCTING from the simple fact - that God equates His Word with Himself:

"In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, . . ." John 1:1 (and other Scriptures),

Thus 'GOD'S WORD' can have no lesser standard than stated above;

"GOD'S WORD MUST" THEREFORE BE:

As true in history, archeology, geography, Earth science, medical science, nutrition, gerontology, agriculture, botany, astronomy, physics, chemistry, climatology, government, law, psychology, sociology - and every subject it touches - as in Theology, Divinity and Doctrine:

And "IF IT BE NOT"- true in all subjects mentioned above; and And "IF IT BE NOT"

Holy, Inspired, Inerrant, Intrepid, Infallible, Infinitive, Invincible, Indestructible, Inexhaustible, Inalienable, Immutable, Implacable, Impossible-to-Improve: Eternal and Indubitable in EVERY FIELD OF KNOWLEDGE:

Whatever else it may be, it cannot be ‘The Incomparable Word’ of the Great Creator God!

Thus we learn the reason that massive prayer by God's people for many decades now has availed NOTHING, and ALL SIN in the USA has gotten MUSH WORSE!

REMEMBER . . .

Wait three Seconds and the Scripture will appear!

Subject of Paragraph:

The Great Revivals did NOT occur because people, "Prayed!" - but because they "Obeyed!" - and "put Away Sin in the Land!

God Promises the Prophet Micah: 2:4

4 Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them:

He will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

God's is Covenanted to HEAR the Prayers of COVENANT NATIONS. Read I Samuel 8 for Amazing truth, that nations REJECTING GOD as their LEADER - and choosing an Earthly visible leader with a standing army (matters not if leader is "CALLED" King, President, Prime Minister, Dictator, General, etc;

>> Is there a standing army to defend instead of God?

>> Is there a Commander in Chief?

>> Is so, that nation is AMONG the many worldly nations"

>> and NOT relying on GOD to fight their battles and whether or not to "Call them to take up arms!"




AMAZINGLY: GOD TELLS SAMUEL TO TELL THE PEOPLE:

8:18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.




God Burned False Gods and Writings at Sodom & Gomorrah:

FACT-1: God burnt Sodom and Gomorrah, with all houses of worship and any "so-called" sacred documents about their gods, idols and worship;


Gen 19:4-9 "... the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: And they called unto Lot,... Where are the men... bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot... shut the door after him, And said,

I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing;

And they said, Stand back... And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door...

19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;




Moses Burned False Gods and Writings:

FACT-2: Moses burnt the "Golden Calf" and any "so-called" sacred documents about its worship;

Exo 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.




God had Moses destroy Midianites, false gods, writings, and Prophet Balaam:

FACT-3: Importantly, Midian had some truth, as Jethro - father-in-law to Moses - knew Jehovah God, advised Moses, rejoiced in Israel escaping Egypt, and Midian was a son of Abraham by Keturah: however, they "mixed" Baal and Balaam with Jehovah and Abraham, and God said: Destroy them all!

Nu 31:7-9 And they warred against the MIDIANites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. And they slew the kings of MIDIAN, beside the rest of them that were slain; ... Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

And the children of Israel took all the women of MIDIAN captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.




God commanded ALL False Gods, Prophets, Altars, Writings, Temples, Groves, etc., Everywhere be BURNED!

FACT-4: God commanded the idols, idol worshippers, houses of worship and any sacred writings there in, to be burned and utterly destroyed.


Deut 7:2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

De 7:5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

Deut 7:16 And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their GODS; for that will be a snare unto thee.

[There is MUCH between these two verses!]

Deut 7:25 The graven images of their GODS (whether a book like the Koran or other) shall ye burn with fire: ... for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.




The Great Judge Gideon

FACT-5: The great Revival under the Judge and Military Leader Gideon. God qualified him by having him destroy and burn his father's grove of idols, and use the wood to offer a sacrifice to Jehovah;


Jud 6:25-27 And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:

And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.

Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.




The Great Prophet Elijah

FACT-6: The great Revival under the Prophet Elijah was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship of BAAL, including their 850 prophets (450 prophets of BAAL, 400 prophets of the groves);

1 Kings 18:38-40 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.

And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.




King Jehu, Anointed by the Prophet Elisha

FACT-7: The great Revival under the Prophet Elisha was consummated by King Jehu, by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship of BAAL, in a massive slaughter of leaders and followers alike;

2 Kings 10:25-28 And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.

And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them. And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house [Out-House] unto this day. Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.




The Godly King Asa:

FACT-8: The great Revival under the Godly King Asa, was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship.

1 Kings 15:11-13 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did David his father. And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.

And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.




The Godly King Jehoshaphat:

FACT-9: The great Revival under the Godly King Jehoshaphat was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship and getting the Sodomites out of the land.

1 Kings 22:45-46 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

1ki 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites,... he took out of the land.




The Godly King Hezekiah:

FACT-10: The great Revival under the Godly King Hezekiah was by destroying all things sacred pertaining to false worship and

2 Chronicles 31:1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all.




The Godly High Priest Jehoida:

FACT-11: The great Revival under the High Priest Jehoida, was by destroying all things sacred pertaining to false worship and

2 Kings 11:17 And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD'S people; between the king also and the people.

And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.

And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD... And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah (queen) with the sword beside the king's house.




The Godly King Josiah:

FACT-12: The great Revival under the Godly King Josiah, was by burning all things sacred pertaining to false worship and getting the sodomites out of the land.

2 Kings 23:4, 6-7 And the king (Josiah) commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Beth-el.

And he brought out the grove from the house of the Lord, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.

And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the Lord,

Wilbur Smith notes nine characteristics of these revivals:

1. They occurred in times of moral darkness and national depression;

2. Each began in the heart of a consecrated servant of God who became the energizing power behind it;

3. Each revival rested on the Word of God, and most were the result of proclaiming God's Word with power;

4. All resulted in a return to the worship of God;

5. Each witnessed the destruction of idols and false worship where they existed;

6. In each revival, there was a recorded separation from sin;

7. In every revival the people returned to obeying God's laws;

8. There was a restoration of great joy and gladness;

9. Each revival was followed by a period of national prosperity.
