"Not much" would have to be a common answer!
In fact, I don't know that a person can buy anything for Two- Cents in the USA in the 21st century! I don't know that there are still 'Penny Gum Ball Machines'. I don't know that there is still 'Penny candy' for sale at the store1
Two-Cents a Day! Why does it matter?
Two-Cents a Day is what the Average American Christian gives to "World Missions"
Is there a sadder fact in this country than that one? Two-Centsa Day to fulfill the Great Commission for Jesus Christ as He commanded? Just 'Two-Cents a day! Can you believe - in this richest nation on Earth that all we are willing to give is Two-Dents a Day? In this USA, the following are commonly known: Many Multi-Million Dollar Church Buildings (often used just a couple hours a week! What a waste!) Many, Many Million Dollar Church Buildings Many, Many Million Dollar Church Campuses TV & Celebrity Preachers with Million Dollar Homes TV & Celebrity Preachers with Million Dollar Incomes The average Christian making $50,000 a year plus - that's approximately $200-DOLLARS-A-DAY Yet we only give to World Missions 2-cents a day.
